Customizable according to user's needs
The Rotograph Evo 3D can be customized for professionals needing by acting on its Examination Modules. Particularly, a Cephalometric arm can be mounted to integrate the Pan and 3D views with Ceph analysis. The Evo Xp Examination Module further enlarges the traditional Panoramic views, not limiting the 2D imaging to the Standard Panoramic projection.



A complete diagnostic tool
Thanks to its Field of View (FOV) of 8,5x8,5 cm, on the Rotograph Evo 3D the entire dental status can usually be visualized with a single, fast exposure, with images ready to be archived and treated with Dental Studio Software. Alternatively, should the user prefer to export the acquired images and use a 3rd party Software, Dental Studio can easily give as output the full set of slices in DICOM format. Differently, when the system is used in Panoramic or Cephalometric mode, the images are acquired directly in bidimensional format and not reconstructed from the 3D volume; as a consequence, they are therefore displayed with the typical standard 2D layout.



Dental Studio Software 3D capabilities
The advanced technology of the Rotograph Evo 3D allows to see the images on the workstation in real time, while the machine is rotating. Simultaneously, the 3D reconstruction module creates the volume using a specific algorithm for artefact reduction. Once the volume reconstruction is completed, the 3D visualization module shows the entire dental status on a single view, thus giving a great support on the study of the single specific case. The representation of the windows is loaded automatically during the first acquisition and it\'s then fully customizable by the user. Once the image is obtained, the Dental Studio imaging Software makes then available to the user all our expertise in terms of image treatment and specific 3D planning.



Diagnostic accuracy
The 200kHz High Frequency generator provides accurate and efficient X-ray emission and produces excellent images with lower tube current than previous generation products, minimizing the patient dose. Shadows produced by the spinal column are reduced by an effective modulation of the kV value during the rotation of the overhead assembly. The result is a more uniform image in the incisors area and a constant magnification of the panoramic images, translating into an accurate geometrical representation of anatomic structures. Additionally, the correct collimator is automatically set for each exam, without any manual intervention from the operator.



The key to a good panoramic image
A good patient alignment to the reference axis is obtained with two laser beams, while a three-point headrest, a chin rest with bite stick and angulated handgrips provide a stable positioning on the machine. A fast positioning is obtained thanks to the mirror. The focal layer can be electronically adjusted, without repositioning the patient, in order to compensate different arc shapes in the anterior region for patients with different jaw structure.
Exposure factors and movement geometry can easily be adapted to the individual characteristics of each patient by selecting between adult and child programs and three patient sizes. The result is an optimal compromise between X-ray dose and image quality.



The power of digital
The high sensitivity of the Cs-I digital detector makes for a reduced X-ray dose and in case of wrong exposure settings, the digital image allows to extract useful information without retakes. Rotograph Evo D is already compliant to existing regulations on patient dose monitoring. The dose readout is calculated for each exposure and stored with the image without the need for add-on DAP measuring devices.
Rotograph Evo D comes bundled with the Dental Studio software package that offers all the image processing tools required for your professional activity.
DICOM functionalities (option) can also be added for integration into hospital networks.


Simple to use
One of the winning features of the new generation of Rotograph Evo D is undoubtlessly the standard Touch Screen control panel. With its practical operability and appealing design, this new user interface makes every function accessible with few touches. Icons, numbers and symbols are positioned in order to allow an immediate use, with very little effort for the operator. Moreover, the generous dimensions of the screen assure the best visibility in all conditions.
The Rotograph Evo D offers the possibility to save images on a common USB memory stick, so the user can operate in total safety even in case of network damage, protecting the workflow from any consequences.



Digital Cephalometric Imaging
Rotograph Evo comes with two possible configurations: a single detector unit, that can be moved from the Pan to the Ceph position with a quick and simple operation, or a dual detector unit. Predisposed digital pan units can be upgraded to ceph with several upgrade options to help you plan your budget according to your needs, protecting your investment over time.
A total of eight digital cephalometric programs gives you the flexibility you need for all patients, with the best combination of image area, acquisition speed and resolution. The cephalostat provides simple and gentle patient alignment for all projections, including lateral, frontal and postero-anterior.



Examination programs
The Rotograph Evo features as standard all the projections typically used in the dental practice: Standard Panoramic, Child Panoramic, TMJ open/closed mouth, Sinus.
The optional Evo XP exams package increases the scope of application of your unit with the addition of several exams to target specific diagnostic needs.
The Implant package for Rotograph Evo D is a valuable tool for taking transversal cross sections of the dental arch for preliminary implant evaluation and follow up.
Differently from other machines that only limit this kind of exam to posteriors, the Implant exam on Rotograph Evo can be performed on any dental element.
