Chesterfield BSU a stand-alone breast screening unit in the Midlands tendered for a digital mammography system to be installed on a new digital trailer. The trust went on to procure a Selenia FFDM unit, mammo PACS system, multiple workstations and image transfer devices. Both the Selenia and MICAS PACS systems have now been installed with full NBSS sync and the system went live with patients at the beginning of July. This was an important site to win as it is the first trailer mounted system to be deployed into a breast screening environment with full NBSS synchronization. |
